This document is a presentation and an analysis of the present conflicts of interests between the anti-hunting movement and the indigenous peoples of the Arctic. The right of indigenous peoples to subsistence and economic development based on renewable resources in their homelands will be the focal issue. The anti-hunting movement is an ongoing threat to the survival of indigenous peoples. A solution which integrates indigenous perspectives is urgently needed.
