The report is based on research and meetings with government authorities, civil society organizations and indigenous communities in Kinshasa, North Kivu, and South Kivu (Goma and Bukavu) undertaken by the African Commission’s Working Group on Indigenous Populations/Communities from 9th till 25th August, 2009.
