Erla Huld Hadaoui is a project manager and advisor with experience in advancing social and policy objectives, particularly in gender equality, sustainable development and youth empowerment. Erla has worked with both governmental and non-governmental organizations to advocate for the rights of marginalized groups. Her background includes advising on policy issues related to gender equality at the Danish Parliament and leading initiatives to promote children's and young people’s rights at the Nordic Council of Ministers. Erla holds a Master’s degree in International Development Studies and Cultural Encounters, with a focus on traditional justice systems and human rights. At IWGIA, Erla brings her expertise in advocacy and strategic partnerships to drive impactful projects for Indigenous communities, with a specific focus on empowering Indigenous women and combating discrimination.
