Alejandro Parellada has been working with Indigenous Peoples in Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Paraguay, and Mexico since he joined IWGIA in 1991. Alejandro Parellada’s main focus is Indigenous Peoples’ land rights and communication. He has worked with the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights for many years. Alejandro Parellada holds a Master in History of Religions and Social Anthropology from the University of Lund in Sweden.
