From 1991 to 2000 the Chittagong Hill Tracts Commission produced four reports on the situation in the Chittagong Hill Tracts titled “Life is not Ours: Land and Human Rights in the Chittagong Hill Tracts”.

All four reports document gross human rights violations in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and the last update also analyses the situation after a peace accord was signed in 1997 between the Government of Bangladesh and the indigenous political party PCJSS.
