Burundi: Batwa representatives nominated to the National Assembly and Senate

According to the Constitution and the electoral code of Burundi, the national independent electoral commission should nominate 3 Batwa (indigenous peoples) to the National Assembly

and 3 Batwa to the Senate based on a list presented by the representative organizations of Batwa, which are legally recognized and regionally represented. In Burundi, 5 indigenous organizations have presented candidates after consultation meetings with the indigenous peoples. Yesterday, the Constitutional Court has published the final results of the last legislative election. The list below contains the names and organisations of the Batwa nominated:
